Herpes is a result of a viral infection which is caused due to the herpes simplex virus. This infection is highly contagious and is one of the most important sexually transmitted diseases. You can either get this infection from someone, or the virus can live in your system for a lifetime and keep causing the infections at intervals. This infection is caused near your mouth region or near your genitals and if left completely untouched, it causes redness, pain, burning, and inflammation along with a lot of discomforts. Herpes takes time to cure, and any medicine be it natural or not, provides the affected person some remission but does not cure the infection. The infection takes at least two weeks to cure herpes, only if you take the needed care and precautions. Lysine-rich foods: Lysine is an amino acid which inhibits the growth of the herpes simplex virus. Lysine-rich foods such as turkey, fish, legumes, vegetables and chicken.

Red and Orange vegetables: The vegetables have antioxidants like carotenoids, bioflavonoids and Vitamin C which helps to form an overall immunity and also heals the skin and the wound.

Wild Caught Fish: This fish provides the vital omega 3 acids and this help to reduce the inflammation and repair the tissues near the infected area.

Protein: It is mandatory to have four to five ounces of protein everyday and so definitely have organic protein foods like pasture raised poultry, grass-fed beef, and wild caught fish. Thus, avoid processed food as much as it is possible.

Zinc: This is an element which when in the body is important to repair and rebuild the skin and therefore protect the body from the viral infections.
